White wines for warm evenings on the balcony

white wineEnjoying a glass of wine or two in good company is one of my vices. But due to… ehm… overindulging in sweet white wines when I first started drinking alcohol I tend to stick to red wine. Every now and then a friend will pour me a glass of white wine, and I am realizing that I might have been missing out. So, my newest mission is to start exploring white wines, and I am starting with the kind that can make a warm summer evening on the balcony even more enjoyable :)

My first step was to ask my knowledgeable friends on Twitter which white wines they would recommend. And as you see they know their stuff!

It will take me a good part of the summer to test out all these recommendations… ;)

  3. Don’t forget Spanish white wines from the Rueda region, I’ve never had one that disappointed.

  8. Looks like you have a crazy amount of wine to try out! I would add Toad Hollow Chardonnay to your list. It is a deliciously crisp, refreshing chardonnay without the buttery heaviness many chards have these days. Good luck!
